These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PeerParley. PeerParley is operated by KTYT Studio, Ontario, Canada ("KTYT Studio", "we", "us"). By accessing or using PeerParley, you agree to these Terms.
About PeerParley
PeerParley is the pirate friendly way to plan meetups, rank your interests, and match with mateys who want the same adventure. Set a parley, pick a port, and let the crew find you. PeerParley blends social planning with matchmaking so you can meet new people around shared interests.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use PeerParley. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Accounts and Verification
You must create an account and verify your email to use PeerParley. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
User Content
You may provide a username, area code, interests, and a profile photo. You can delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, we remove your data from our systems within a reasonable period, except as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
Community Rules
PeerParley is for meeting new people at cool places. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against others.
- Post or share false, misleading, or impersonating information.
- Use the app for illegal activity, spam, or commercial solicitation without consent.
- Share another person's private information without permission.
- Create parleys that encourage unsafe or harmful behavior.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including attempts to access it unlawfully.
Matchmaking and Events
PeerParley helps you discover parleys and connect with mateys, but we do not guarantee that you will match or meet. You are responsible for your interactions, decisions, and attendance. Hosts decide who to approve for their parleys.
Safety and Risk
You are an adult and responsible for evaluating risks before meeting in person. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and trust your instincts. KTYT Studio is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damages resulting from in-person meetups.
Intellectual Property
PeerParley and all related content, design, and branding are owned by KTYT Studio. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we receive reports indicating unsafe or inappropriate behavior. You may delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
PeerParley is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make any warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KTYT Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of your use of PeerParley.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
Apple Standard EULA
If you download PeerParley from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that the Apple Standard EULA applies. In the event of a conflict between the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms, these Terms will govern to the extent permitted by law.
